Finally finished this. I am still in need of a title...as usual.
I apologize for the bad anatomy - it looks much better on paper and in pencil
All attempts to improve it kind of made it worse I think. Meh. Also, I apologize for the shoddy coloring job. This is not terrible, no, but it could have been better if I wasn't in such a rush >.< I do like how her skirt thing turned out. I totally did not intend for them to have such contrasting colors but I guess it worked out well. My bf said that they look like Fire Nation and Water Tribe-esque 
from Avatar but that was not my intention at all!Does anyone know any good petal/flower brushes or something because my petals look better in pencil and not in color?

This is gorgeous! And don't say your colouring is shoddy, it's wonderful! You've improved so much, I could never produce something like this with Photoshop, not in a million years!

Aww thanks so much! And I do feel that I've improved (it's been quite a while so I'd hope so). I'm sure you could tooootally create something like this! You're just putting yourself down. Besides at least you're good at real media. I can't paint/color in real life if my life depended on it.

Yayy! Finished and so pretty! And wow, everyone has been giving [constructive] criticism...that's...rare on deviantart. I think it looks great and can offer no helpful comments. Well, except for on the petals brushes thing. For petals that are like the ones in the background of my journal, [link] has some under the "Special" section.

Yeah it's sad that constructive criticism is so rare on dA. You'd think it would be pretty good here. I have to admit that I don'tt like critiquing most people cause theyr'e usually 10x better than me and probably already know what's wrong or missing or something. I just don't feel like I would have enough talent/skill/know-how to critique

Anyway, I will echo what others have mentioned about the background. There just needs to be something there. I love the idea of a little tree branch sticking out of the corner.

Haha yeah the skirt did turn out well - which it better since it took me soooo long to figure out what to color it. But yeah I might do the tree branch or hell, even a tree, in the bg a bit behind the people. I want to try and keep an open sky though as much as possible - it just looks...relaxing to me. If I hadn't taken out that girl floating in the sky it wouldn't have seemed so empty

This certainly looks fantastic, congratulations on finishing!
It certainly is nice looking, the background is beautiful, and I love your coloring. All very serene and earthy feeling.
If you don't mind me critiquing a little though, about the only 2 problems I have (which are minor) is that I wish your lineart was cleaner. Like, mainly on her sword and his staff that the lines get a little shaky and ragged.
The other is that the petals are kind of falling from nowhere. For this kind of thing, a little bit of branches should at least be showing. :3
But really, quite a great job.

Thanks so much! I appreciate everything! I really wish I had taken more time with it and did a better job with the colors though and did more detail work. But I'm glad you still like it!
And yeah my linearts are neeeever ever clean. I dunno I just can't stick to it when I'm cleaning it up. the sword does need some work but I didn't want the staff to have that strict pole shape. I dunno why though. Maybe I should make it a little more obviously warped though to give it more character.
I used to have that chick up in the corner which was semi-related to the petals originally but I took her out so now...yeah randomly falling petals
