incredibly epic and cute!
i love the details/colour/face drawings of the girl and of the owl, its great.
tho, why does the girl has such a scary hand? it looks like a bird's claw/talon....
nice work!

thanks, yes it's really bird's claws, because Blodeuwedd (according to the myth) is girl, which transformed in owl

My sister wrote a song about Blodeuwedd as an emblem of child abuse; innocent flowers torn from their gentle meadow life by a man who forced them to become a women for men to take without asking. And when she learned from them the dark lesson that one takes what one wants, and therefore chose a man of her own, she was punished and degraded and destroyed for daring to rebel.
We usually think of child abuse, as we should, as a matter of the horror done to a helpless child, but until I heard the song, I'd never thought about how the victims who survived would also mourn the person they could never now grow into; the whole and sane adult they might have been.
But there is one silver lining in that cloud; sometimes we are the only people who can help other people who are hurting, because some victims are too wounded to trust an unscarred hand. So even if we can never again be the "flowers of the meadowsweet, flowers of the broom" from which Blodeuwedd was made, we can strive to become, not hunting owls, but healers.
