The concentration explores the voices of women from different cultures and time periods. Throughout history, the individuality of women was never important, what mattered was their appearance. The eyes are said to be the windows to the soul, so the women in the concentration have no eyes because their personalities are deemed unimportant by the rest of the world.
This concentration shows the strength, passion, and energy that these women had behind their unspoken words. They will continue to smile and value themselves, no matter how oppressive their society may be.
