Description And now for something completely different.....

I'm not too familiar with the gods and goddesses of Indian culture, but they sure are cool looking. I just pieced this together from a bunch of other pics I used to reference the styles. Their art is so intricately detailed, it's insane. I don't have quite the patience for it, but its good enough for me.

Method: prisma color pencils, minimal photoshop cs

yes, hands aren't really my best thing....Actually, most of my drawings are completley lacking in good hands unless i'm working off a reference model. Thanks though!

Is this a real Indian goddess, or did you mix some of them together? She looks a bit like Kali, goddess of violence, Ultimate Reality and Source of Being, but she has ten hands, feet and heads. In any case, I like the coloring and the whole atmosphere. The tiger is cute and kind of fits the bill.

Yeah, I mixed some together. I was looking at pics, but I couldn't decide which one to draw, and not really knowing the backgrounds of Indian mythology, just decided to go with something generic. Thank you very much for the fav'!
