Do I need to explain this one? No.... probably not. The Little Mermaid came out in 1989 when I was 6 years old and from then through the next 6-10 years of my life, all mermaids I drew pretty much resembled the disney style in some way....So I sort of consider this painting getting back to my roots of drawing, except for that it's way more awesome now with 20+ years experience under my belt

Oh this is gorgeous just gorgeous, the water sparkling is so good as well as the castle and its reflection. The tree is so nicely swiped to portray leaves is so pretty. The feel of her hair waving in the wind just makes the scene in that you get that carefree feel to it.
