I definitely like the colouring and the overall technique here. I guess I would like it even more if it didn't seem she is closing the lion's jaws by force (however calm and patient). I love how it seems from thumbnail - that she's scratching him and caressing him so that he forgets any ferociousness he might possess, instead nuzzling to her in pure bliss. It would be closer to my experience, too - people rarely manage to be aggressive towards those who appear harmless and react with kindness and understanding. And it seems to be something similar for inner turmoils as well. Accepting oneself is rewarding, even without giving in to the more "wild" impulses...
But I still like the card and I think it conveys the meaning well. Not to mention the style is very fitting to the symbolic nature of tarot cards for some reason I can't quite name

I never liked Rider-Waite deck (though I never had the opportunity to get really familiar with it) - it's somehow too "hard" for me. I need the card to be beautiful to be able to get close to its meaning - perhaps because beauty draws me in, while lack of it makes me unwilling to stare at the card too hard, much less accept it into my own imagination. 
Btw., I love the girl's face. All the gentleness that might be missing from the hands is there; it's a beautiful and kind face with serene expression.
So yes, I definitely like it!

lol Yeah it would be cool when you're done to have them made into an actual tarot deck. lol But yeah, it's interesting to see your versions. I actually don't know much about Tarot cards other than the game I play has a lot of stuff based on them. I really should do some research. haha
