Description
The Reddish Egret is, for me, the Holy Fool of the avian world, for it transforms the work of fishing into a sacred, spontaneous dance. I especially love watching it when it leaps into the air like a ballerina and then spins suddenly, like a dervish. This particular Egret danced at least a dozen times for me on Fort DeSoto Beach--and managed to catch sizable fish at least half the time!
