My self portraits are explorative, transforming the captor into the captive. Exposing myself as I would expose other models is to give up the dominant power that most photographers thrive on. In front of the camera rather then behind the camera I take on a whole new submissive power. This idea of power exchange is quite sexual in itself, and re-contextualizes the relationship between model and photographer.Related content

Living out of a suitcase...you've brought that concept out brilliantly with this image! Β Love your explanation on switching roles with the model and a reversal of powers. Β This is gonna sound kinda lame, but I love your wood floor in this, and how it matches with your skin-tone. I'm intrigued in this.. very beautiful in many ways. I feel kind of lame saying it as seeing all the other comments that have been said here basically say the same thing.. But still, it's a wonderful picture.

a really interesting image... I like the shadowing on both sides... the green background works really well too... not sure what the standing in the suitcase or the dryer on the floor says... but I guess that's part of the intrigue of the image. Really well done.

Was there any Photoshopping done to this image? The colors and the model look great but I can't help but look at it and see patches the look too smooth or certain areas that almost defy the "norms" of scale.
