Description Here's the first commission sketch from Emerald City Comicon, Seattle, March 31, 2012 featuring the Black Cat.

Drawn on 11 x 17 Canson Pastel Paper with Col Erase Light Blue Pencil, HB Lead Pencil, Pitt and Copic Pens, Warm Grey Copic Markers and Prismacolor Pencils.

You know what's funny about that - this was my first con (and con sketch) in almost 9 months - I'm shaking off rust on most of these. If I actually did cons semiregularly I think I could do much better stuff but it's always like starting over again at each show.

I pick the main light source and stick to it and add a rim lighting if necessary to pop it out.
