Story time for Blue Quartz! Get her story below! Just keep in mind that I’m a terrible writer. :v

Day 3 of the 30 day Gemsona challenge. Background!

Long after the war on Earth had ended; a project was green lit by Blue Diamond to research the possibilities of altering gems in their incubation stage. A batch of Rock Quartz were experimented on early in their development and then left to continue incubation. Seven-hundred years later, the batch was completed. However, due to it being their first attempt, only a single specimen survived the process uncorrupted. And thus, Blue Quartz was born. Being a quartz, she was naturally a physically powerful being, so after getting an all-clear by Blue Diamond’s science division, she was given a place as one of Blue Diamond’s personnel.
For the next century, she worked as one of Blue Diamond’s bodyguards. However it didn’t take long for her true nature to start creeping to the surface. Tired of standing around just looking intimidating and longing to do what she was meant to do, she started to wander off from her posts looking to test her strength against others. Countless times she would end up getting into skirmishes with other soldiers, even going so far as to get into fights with the other diamonds’ forces. Blue Diamond slowly began to realise that Blue Quartz was uncontrollable, and soon had her brought before her. Blue Diamond deemed Blue Quartz to be defective and ordered her immediate termination.
Blue Quartz was escorted to a holding cell to await her termination when luck smiled favourably on her. The Jasper that was escorting her was distracted by a group of Peridots, giving Blue Quartz the opportunity to overpower and defeat the larger warrior. With this, Blue Quartz had officially marked herself as a traitor to Homeworld. Not wishing to stick around for more forces to arrive and apprehend her, she left to locate a ship so she could leave the planet behind. As she searched, she came across an armoury filled with weapons and limb enhancers, where she acquired some thruster boots. After hours of running and hiding, she eventually found a small, spherical ship. Unsure of how to operate it though, she merely hit buttons until a set of coordinates were displayed. She selected these coordinates and hit the launch button, sending the capsule rocketing upwards into the sky and into the void of space.
Weeks had passed as Blue Quartz continued to drift through the vast emptiness of space, unsure of when she would finally arrive at her unknown destination. Several more days passed when Blue Quartz suddenly found herself on approach to a small planet; unfortunately she did not know how to properly control her ship and was forced to crash land. After recovering from the crash, she blew the hatch and emerged onto a beach. Looking up, she discovered four gems and another being standing before her, with three of the gems bearing weapons against her.
