So, I was like "holy crap!" when I finished this one. I swear it was an anomaly, how this one came out. I was just messing around with the whole concept of coloring etc. I really really like how it turned out. Robert's story is long and of course full of angst (for the angst!) but the end, I couldn't help but give him his happiness and peace... that's not saying it's all sunshine and daisies, because it's not. But! Well... here is after it's all said and done. He's clear, he can freaking sleep... and he's just him. Older, a bit wiser, a little worse for wear... but... yeah. So this is my happy ending for my baby, Robert Hawke. <3 I'm hoping that when I get further into my art that I can draw the other people in his life at this point in his story.
