I don't think I can express with words how much I enjoy this picture, but I'm going to try.
You have so much control over lines-- everything looks so touchable, be it cloth, faces, hair or the beads. Your colors are so rich, even though they're such pure earth tones. I love their exressions, and how the background adds to the picture rather than drawing my eyes away from the forefront.
I'm just awed, really.

What program do you use and/or how do you get that blurry effect? Its really cool, and I've seen it before so I'm curious as to how one would get it.

great work! i really like the intricate details that you put into this piece. The free flow of the cape (even tho the arrows r stuck in them) is amazing. i like how u made both characters stand out separately, and yet they seem perfect together. the balance of the picture is also great, with the cross/cloth on one side and the arrow ends on the other. the background is simplistic, but adds a nice touch.
i also really love ur coloring technique. i'm not sure how u do it, but u make the colors flow neatly, and it almost has a somewhat "glossy" (for lack of better words) look. its very smooth, and u do a good job of covering mistakes (which i am unaware of lol).

Awesome work. Great design for the cross. The beads closer to the cross could had been a little bigger as they almost look of the same size of the ones in Tom's hand though. I really like when artists add such a windy flow into every detail of their works. Yours looks great and the clouds background just adds nicely to it. Tom looks so young!
Do you mind constructive critique? Not like mine's much of a critique but I like to say something else besides awesome or great and such.

Oh, I also like the blurring effect on your lineart. It makes it look a lot less flat.
