Β these are the type of gulls we have round here and they ain't that little.....took this early July this year when these buggers turned up on Lower Green in Cathedral Close. They are classed as vermin same as pigeons and gulls are extremely vicious as they will attack people if they have food which the gulls want.......they will attack anything and everything given the chance.

Gulls are known to kill the falcon chicks when they're tiny which is why there's always a parent on the nest til the chicks are a sensible size.
They used to be called sea gulls but since the UK fishing industry has declined the gulls have moved inland to look for food and will literally eat anything they can however gross it is. Favourite places now are cities and land fill sites for them as there's plenty of food for them.......not much scares gulls either so you do need their natural predators to keep the numbers down which seems to be other birds of prey that have icky germy nasty talons as any open wounds inflicted in a fight get infected and kills the gull (culling them would be great as well and not many people would object)
