Description One of my all time favorite shows is Pushing Daisies. It's bittersweet that the writing strike came along. For one it was a pretty big reason this show was cancelled, but because of it shorts like Dr. Horrible were made, and that's another favorite of mine.
Anywho, this is Chuck from Pushing Daisies!
Have you ever noticed how much red she wears? I think the creators of PD had some pretty great color schemes throughout the show though. It was something to admire, s'pecially Lily and Vivian's house as well as the Pie Hole.

I love the way you drew the letters and everything! What is this show exactly about again?

It's about this guy named Ned. He owns a pie shop and makes pies for a living. He can touch dead things and bring them to life, if he touches something he brought back to life again it's dead for good. If they're alive for longer than one minute, something else dies. So this detective named Emerson finds out about this and Emerson and Ned go about solving murder crimes by bringing the deceased back to life and talking to them about their death.
The chick in here is Chuck, she was a childhood sweetheart to Ned, but after they both became orphans they didn't see each other after that, until Chuck died, so whilst solving Chuck's murder case Ned kept her alive, but he isn't allowed to touch her at all or else she'll be dead again. FOREVER!

I've never heard of a girl called Chuck This turned out well, though! The colors are very reminiscent of Spring and the fruit that apparently plays a pretty significant role in that show, if I understand correctly.
The design is very well composed too

Why thank you Mark! They use a ton of orange and green in their show, in fact there's just about every color except purple and blue, they tend to stay away from those two colors. You'll have to invest a half hour or two into watching some Pushing Daisies Mark. You might enjoy it!
