Little Audrey is a character created by Paramount Studios as an replacement for Little Lulu whose rights expired.

Basically, she is a clone of the more popular Little Lulu and even have shorts and comic books which were re-imaginations of gags and stories which Lulu lived.

She, unlike Lulu, is prone to break rules and get away from them in special in the shorts produced by Famous Studios.

Her annoying laugh usually symbolized that she got away from breaking any rules like bringing dogs to beach even if forbidden or getting away from a feud with a police officer.

In the comic books, she got the last name of "Smith", a friend named Lucretia and a rival and love interest called Melvin.
