Yes, it is funny indeed when I try to speak German.... but I keep on trying anyway. Someday I will get back to DE and learn the langauge properly. My German is a bit Amish I'm afraid!
With Teufelkind, I am not saying the Devil's Child, but rather devilchild. I think it makes a subtle difference and I think that the way I've put together the compound noun more accurately reflects that actual meaning of the word. I am a child with a touch of the devil inside you know, not the actual son of Satan. I'm bad... but not that bad!

Satansbraten...also a good compund noun! But yes, too young for me. Regardless of right or wrong, I will have to live with "teufelkind" for now as I haven't the ambition to change it. Nobody here will notice...almost nobody.
