Andrea and Katie's best friends and fellow superheroine couple were kind enough to open their home and host a Thanksgiving dinner for their close friends. Katie made Andrea promise to be on her best behavior while at dinner, but Andrea just can't help herself seeing Katie wear that tight pink sweater top and sexy stockings. Little do they realize that Ashley and Tiffany are right along with them playing a little footsie of their own. Christy however seems a bit more preoccupied with getting herself a healthy serving of turkey.

Each lady preset takes turns sharing with everyone what they are thankful for. Being the hostess and it being her idea, Tiffany goes first. She glances around the table making sure to make eye contact with each other lady at the table. "First off, I'm thankful for each and every one of you here at this table." Leaning a little towards Andrea and Katie as she continues, "to great friends who are more family than friends..."; looking over at Christy who's all smiles "to a friend who's like a little sister I never had...". At this point Tiffany can feel Ashley's foot rub her ankle under the table. Looking straight ahead into those soft brown eyes "and all the more so for my very best friend and the love of my life." Ashley's heart began to flutter as her cheeks grew warmer. "Without you, I wouldn't ever feel complete." All the ladies give a little heartfelt sentiment of agreement.

Christy, trying to get a pass looks down at her plate, knowing that Tiffany is looking her way trying to get her to say something. Finally she buckles under the pressure of the awkward silence and soft smiles. At first she thinks she'll just keep it quick and light as if she had been called on a teacher at SCU to give an answer she wasn't confident in giving. But then she looked down at Ashley and Tiffany then Katie and Andrea. Two happy, loving couples. "I'm thankful for..." Giving a false start she spoke up again as she said what was on her heart instead of her head. "I'm thankful for real friends. Family. Family I can trust and depend on..." She swallowed a little as she felt herself getting slightly choked up. "For family who saved my life...and helped me through everything life has thrown at me..." All the ladies' eyes were getting a little misty sensing how heartfelt she was being. She looked right into Tiffany's eyes with that last statement who met her gaze with a knowingly comforting smile and a slight head nod of support. The young blonde cleared her throat and gently wiped away a tear from her eye. Smiling she added "And I'm immediately thankful for this food not being cafeteria food." This small quip was met with a small chuckle from the others as she sat back down and just bowed her head a little. Ashley and Tiffany both stretched out their arms and gently patted her on her shoulders. Letting them know they were always there for her.

Ashley spoke up "Guess I'll go next. I've never been one for speeches or anything, but I would like to say that I'm so very thankful for each and every one of you as well. For friends I don't know I would have ever had if I hadn't kept saying yes to rooftop coffee from a certain redhead..." Ashley gave a little wink at Tiffany, who was blushing as she also ran her own foot up and down Ashley's leg as she spoke. Ashley started getting a little flustered at the hidden gesture and blushed. "I guess to sum it up, I'm thankful for coffees, for rooftops, for naps, for lazy Sundays..." The whole time Ashley's eyes were fixed on Tiffany's beautiful eyes. "...for...everything. Everything your love has blessed me with." Tiffany started to blush a little too hearing and feeling each and every sentiment her lover shared.

Katie started "Well, this is getting tougher and tougher to follow..." She smiled as she looked around the table. Her thumb rubbed the underside of the wedding band adorning her left hand instinctively as she started to think about thankfulness and love. "...I know we've all said it...and meant it. But I am truly thankful for each and every one of you ladies at this table. I don't want to imagine my life without a single one of you in it. It means so much to me...to us...to have friends..." Katie stopped herself. "To have family that we can share everything with. To know about all our struggles and issues in life and in "work". I just want each of you to know how much to mean to me personally. I know I can depend on each of you at any time, under any circumstance..." Katie's eyes started to really tear up "...like a real family." Katie looked over at Andrea to help center herself emotionally. Those sexy brown eyes just pierced her soul every time she looked into them. Andrea's smile was all she needed. Focused solely on Andrea she finished, "And I'm thankful for love. The deep connecting love that only your best friend and lover can provide. The type that keeps you warm just thinking about." Katie rubbed her wedding band between her fingers. "The type of love you share with your wife."

Tiffany gave a soft "here here".

"Well this sucks." Andrea blurted out. Katie gently bowed her head as she pushed a lock of her hair back behind her ear, trying to cover up her flushed cheeks. "You all have said everything. Christy couldn't even leave me the food to be thankful for!" All the ladies gave a chuckle at this. Christy tried to sneak in a bite of turkey but Andrea caught her "I'll keep it short since Christy is apparently starving..." Christy just swallowed a big gulp and gave an innocent as can be look. Andrea smiled at Christy putting her at ease. "I'm thankful for today. For this meal, and for all of the love represented here." Andrea ran her foot gently up and down Katie's legs, letting the stockings glide gently against each other. "The thing I'm most thankful for is the word Yes." Katie tried to not blush too much, but she was already half way there from her turn giving thanks. "I'm thankful for everything that has happened in my life. The good and the bad. Because all of it in that specific order brought me to you..." Andrea was giving Katie one of the sweetest and most loving looks. Then turned to Tiffany and Ashley. "And then to meet my best friends..." Tiffany interrupted her with a smirk "...And boss...". Andrea sighed softly and shook her head saying in a playful monotone voice "and I'm thankful for my boss..." She laughed a little as Tiffany sat up straight. "Happy now?" Tiffany smiled "yes. thank you." Andrea rolled her eyes and shook her head as Katie chuckled and Ashley gave Tiffany a little why did you interrupt her for that look. Andrea's eyes met Christy's who was a little shy. "And finally to a certain blonde that my baby sister seems to be talking to on a regular basis lately?" Andrea said with a small "tough girl" voice. Christy was a little concerned by Andrea's tone but the other three ladies all shook their heads slightly telling her that Andrea was not being as serious as she was trying to let on. Andrea then smirked, breaking the tough girl facade. Andrea stood up and lifted her glass, placing it towards the center of the table. "I'm thankful for the family that you choose, not just the one you happen to be born into." Katie popped up and placed her glass next to Andreas and was immediately followed by the other three.

All five glasses clinked together as they said in unison "To Family."

After they all took a drink, Tiffany smiled and said "Let's eat."

Christy could barely be heard muttering "Finally" as they all started eating.
