i'm not used for draw portraits...and less of my characters
anyway, here's a practice of the painting of a male, this case my halo OC Derrick XD. i tried to paint it as i could coz i suck at ultra-realism loool!
. i used a reference for the head and that helped me a lot! 
, but i had a lot of problems painting the eyes yeah, i changed his eyes for another color and i add some beard

i think it's easier for me draw faces than full body x__x...took me like 3 hours i guess...glad i finished it before late night

This looks really good, It looks like you did really just draw a real person! The shading done on this is really good, and i really like the way you did the hair, I noticed that his face his very slender as well, i like the detail on the ears also. now onto the eyes, I think they are the heart of the picture, his eyes are very captivating and stick out, I like the color you went with as it draws people towards his eyes and shows how much time you put into it, overall very well done also just wondering is that tattoo on his neck a bird? well keep up the good work!

You did a good job on the face but the hair looks too anime (too shiny) compared to the rest of the portrait, but good job though

the his hair is supposed to be blueish like that because a substance in his body (and his mother has it too), but still a good point XD i added too much light @.@.
