Alessa wouldn't have suffered such a terrible fate. I hated that there wasn't anyone who cared enough to save her from being immolated nor sacrificed at all.

AWWW! I always wondered what it would have been like if Harry adopted Alessa. Whole new life, new friends, new father, and being able not to have to use her powers in such a way she did. Makes me wish for a story like that to read.
