Description

I never really managed to do a decent Poison Ivy mod while I was still doing Texverses, not because I don't like the character, but because she was one of those characters who I couldn't recreate the way I wanted to. I actually really like Poison Ivy, and there's something I don't like about her it's the forced romance with DC's Lady Deadpool.

Anyway, the look is based on Ivy's outfit in the Harley Quinn cartoon, and it's probably the only time I take inspiration from this trash show. Speaking of the show, I never watched a single episode of it, but would occasionally come across clips of it on Youtube, and I gotta say it feels like a lesbian fan-fiction where "Harley" tries to prove she doesn't need the Joker, Ivy starts dating Kite-Man, but then "Harley" and Ivy start have feelins for each other, plus random DC characters apepar throughout the show and act the way they never would... plus, jokes about Aquaman's powers have long overstayed their welcome. So yeah, I hate this show! But I still ended up trying to recreate Ivy's look.

Originally, I didn't like the look feeling that a leather jacket doesn't suit Ivy's character, being a self-proclaimed Mother Nature, Guardian of all plants, she would reject the "human way" which is why she would either appear almost naked or slightly covered by leaves as if she were a Greek Goddess as presented in Renaissance era paintings. But I ended up getting used to this look and even tried to faithfully recreate it for my final attempt at DC Texverse (nothing worked). So now, when I'm mostly doing random stuff, I decided to see if it'd work in the visual style I mostly used for Marvel Texverse. And yeah, I did not recreate the exact look from the cartoon, but rather did an urban version of her classic look.

Still not sure it feels "organic" on her (get it?), but since we can have Penguin as tall and not ugly, then I guess it's ok.

Poison Ivy is owned by DC Comics
