Their home, Inkopolis, is destroyed. They were forced to leave and they took up arms to fight the secret service behind the extinction of Inklings. History is repeating itself, no matter where it is, what it is. And the only way to leave Inkopolis, is the abandoned nuclear plant of Fork Valley.
