Silvia lived in gravity falls her whole life and like most people in gravity falls she has three fingers. Silvia loved to explore the forest of gravity falls though her parents hated the idea of her wandering off by herself. She was nice to everyone even to most of the supernatural creature's. She didn't met Alexander/ Alex Thompson till she was ten years old (She is five months younger than him.) Alexander moved to gravity falls when he was ten years old. At first he didn't really care about exploring Gravity Falls but sometime after meeting silvia and being dragged around by her he actually started to like exploring and the town.
