Description
Charlie is officially on his way to becoming a chrysalis and then a grown monarch! He’s in the “j-hang” or “j-ing” stage, where he’ll hang on the button of silk he spun for 24-48 hours. Then he’ll shed his skin and become a pupae/chrysalis!

Unfortunately I won’t update when he inevitably does so, as I’m going away this weekend. But I’ll update upon my return to show you all his chrysalis form!

Sorry for the image quality. I only had access to an old large almond container I cleaned out (without cleaners!), as trying to find a butterfly/insect cube that would work in the small space I had was like trying to find snow in July in Texas. Aka IMPOSSIBLE. Hopefully it’ll be big enough for when he emerges…
