Description Two old fertilizer tanks/trailers (at least that's what I think they are) sit dormant under a cold winter sky near Laird, roughly 36 km east of Sault Ste. Marie, ON. This is a series of two horizontal shots stitched together vertically.

So you're not just a pretty face, eh

Vertical stitching is something I must try.... never seems to occur to me. This is a lovely image

Thanks. And stitching is a lot cheaper than buying a wide angle lens. The results vary a lot based on the situation, but they always work well when the stitch lines are in the sky like this.

I used to stitch them exclusively using Canon's PhotoStitch software, but have since found that if you have enough overlap, it's pretty easy to line them up as transparent layers in Photoshop and then merge them together.

Colors are great! Is it HDR?

Thanks, and thank you for the . It's sort of an HDR, in the sense that I combined different exposures to attain a higher dynamic range, but I didn't use any automated software to do this, I just combined the exposures as layers in Photoshop.
