Description
The most legendary team of Spartans in the UNSC, these warriors are both experimented and fierce. These were the survivors of the years of extreme training to refine them. Abducted at the age of 6, John-117, Frederic-104, Kelly-087, Linda-058 and Samuel-034 were the last surviving members of the program and were at the top of their class. Samuel-034 sacrificed himself while fighting insurrectionists. This gave the members a new resolution; to fight together and honor their fallen comrade. I don't mean to be a buzz kill but I thought Sam had sacrificed himself at the start of the Human-Covenant war to destroy a covenant cruiser. Of course, I'm going off of the official book "Halo: The Fall of Reach". And according to later books and lore, the five remaining Spartan II's are John, Frederic, Kelly, Linda, and Naomi. Naomi is part of a ONI spec ops unit called Kilo 5 ("Halo: Glasslands" through "Halo: Mortal Dictata" aka the "Kilo 5 Trilogy") while the other four are of course, Spartan Blue Team. Also, according to the books, there were 32 Spartan II's that succeeded in the training and made it past augmentation, not just the 5. I may be completely misinterpreting this entire description though.

neat. but Sam doesn't seem to me like a recon-armor guy. I liked the idea they used in Fall of Reach animation and gave him that CQC helmet

Recon is the most similar gen2 armor to the CQC. Thats why i chose that armor.
