This doesn't make any sense. The Banana Splits Movie didn't do anything to TTG. They don't have anything to do with each other at all other than both being owned by WB.

Of course they didn't do anything to each other! That's why they're both hated and they both ruined the childhoods of older fans everywhere. Believe me, they have something in common. They're exactly the opposites of the originals.
