Description Zelda II was the first Zelda game I've ever owned. Gold cartridge and all! With that magic sword on the game that looks like Lion-o's Sword of Omens.
I always saw Zelda II in the same league of games like Rastan, Castlevania, Golden Axe and Altered Beast. BAD ASS!!! Old time, Medieval Biblical looking setting. All with a combat style that is solely based around FIGHTING!!! reflexes, timing, thrusting, blocking and OK maybe I'm getting carried away. And that's what a good game should do!
The bad guys. Zelda II had enemies that are tough as well as look beast and menacing. Some guy tried to tell me that Link is soft. Link is a wimp and if he ever had to fight a real savage enemy that Link would be decimated. I thought back to Zelda II and all that stuff it reminds me of and I said "You're wrong. Link is a -savage slayer- " 
I was REEEALLY hoping for a Zelda II part in Hyrule Warriors just to see the enemies and hear some remastered Zelda II music!

Zelda II is a great game.  I like how the entire map from Zelda 1 is contained in the overworld of Zelda II.  It's called Death Mountain Area in the instruction manual.  Next time you venture into the Death Mountain cave maze, remember that when you get to end of it (beach, woods, lakes, and the graveyard), that's the whole map from The Legend of Zelda!  It still blows my mind to this day!

Yes  The OoT Non-Playable Characters are named after the towns in Zelda 2, with the exception of Mido and Kasuto.

Kasuto is not a person.  It's a town in Zelda 2.

Very cool work!  

I think I had for the Super Nintendo The Legend of Zelda which was a special game for me and my nephew who would come up to my place here in Savannah and play that game for hours.
