Description
In an instant she was upon them, seemingly rising from nowhere and high into the murky skies, eyeing them with terrifying intentions. A lone rower managed throw themselves into the nearest lifeboat when he laid eyes upon her expanding form, going from a simple figure in the water to a sky-swallowing colossus. She seemed to occupied with the ship, which she lifted out of the water effortlessly, much to the abject horror of the crew. A creature so large should simply not be. Even the most massive of beasts would prove to be nary a snack for the sea-striding Imp. The ship's hull cried out under the pressure of her grip, which was drowned out by the pandemonium of the crew, who filled the air with every swear and prayer imaginable.

The lone rower had to watch her treat his crew like a large collection of tiny playthings, but he felt a wave of bizarre relief wash over him. With enough distance between them he could recede into the fog. Maybe find another ship and warn them of the monster that lurked in these waters. But his hopes soon ended upon like his former ship: thoughtlessly crushed by the grip of the imp.

The sound of the ship's spine breaking was deafening.

And then she turned to face him, as if she already knew he was there.

"And where do you think you're going, hm?" She grinned devilishly.
