Dedicated to my dearest friend, ~aayla-secura .There's not much to say about it since it's a rather personal picture and a gift for her birthday. She knows the meaning behind this and there's no need to explain it to others.
I made a birthday card out of it.

Hey das ist ja mal eine ganz andere Form der Einfärbigun von dir! Gefällt mir. Hui, die Flügel sehen ja regelrecht golden aus. Generell finde ich sehen die Finnen und alles an Membranen so viel organischer aus. Großer Schulterklopfer! Der Blick ist übrigens auch niedlich. ^^
Jetzt müssten nur noch ein paar anatomische Ecken ein wenig besser definirt sein... ^^ Da beim Vorderbeinansatz siehts zum Beispiel aus als wäre dort hinter direkt so eine art tiefe Einbuchtung und der Ellenbogen sehr weit oben. Da scheinen noch die Folgen von Outlines zu sein. ^^
Was mir auch gefällt ist das das Licht so konsequent durchgezogen ist. Bringt 'ne schöne Tiefe hinein. Und wirkt vielleicht mit dieser Colo noch mal so gut.

Joa.. mir gefällts zwar besser als das, was ich sonst so abliefere.. aber langsam geht mir dieser extremecomicartige Stil doch etwas auf die Nerven ^^" Nur irgendwie komme ich davon auch nicht so richtig los..
Und danke! Ich hab mal ein bisschen mit dem Licht rumgespielt und bin relativ zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis.
Outlines? Hatte ich nicht X3 Aber stimmt.. die Anatomie ist etwas schlurig geraten. ^^"

Niiice! From the artistic point of view it's your classical pose - but somehow you did the shading differently - it's softer than before

And true, it's not really exciting concerning the pose and the overall image. Buuut I guess the meaning counts and I had the feeling ~aayla-secura really liked it.
And yep, I tried some new things with the shading and tried not to use too "hard" light (like white).
The "upper layer".. heh, what do you mean with that?

More diffuse lighting is good for making the materials look less glossy and artificial - more like real skin and scales
