Description This is the same enchanting Italian rider from before with his horribly adorable warmblood. This was one of the best halts of the day, notice that the baby is perfectly square.

Anyway, the rider had such a FLASHY salute, all the women in the crowd were swooning, he just flicked his tophat off like he was getting ready to woo the judge, it was great. He winked at me as he rode by on his warmup lap. I died inside a little!

Great capture! I'm having fun teaching my youngster what a square halt means.

Ohhh awesome shot! my horse is too lanky and unco-ordinated to halt perfectly square. his legs go flying in all directions hahaha

Great shot! The horse's expression is the epitome of dressage: attentive and looking through the bridle. The background with the houses in the hills give an almost surreal setting.
A fav for sure. Good job.

RAWR

Man, after I started riding Reba, I remember I was pretty much not allowed to stop if she wasn't going to be square. I worked so many miserable hours on squaring... and then I had to do it on a regular basis to school Lucy, the lazy bum! It never ends, lemme tell ya. I can still remember the exact type of soreness that doing nothing but squaring for an hour straight causes. Ew.
