Dogs were humanity’s first experiment in genetics. Over the course of several thousand years of breeding wolves, early humans were able to create a whole new species. It would make sense then that dogs would be among the prime targets for genetic uplifting. Uplifted dogs tend to be very loyal and friendly. Dog uplifts make up a very small percentage of uplifted sapient, most dogs are still just sentient and not sapient. Uplifted dogs tend to live in packs of other dog uplifts and humans. Intelligent dogs can speak some human languages with difficulty.
