Hmm... Acrylics + gemstones (amber, citrine, amethyst, etc) + seashells + silk + ceramic + branches on a 24"x34" presswood plank i've found in the garbage.---------------
OMG another DD, i'm so happy right now! I wasn't sure what direction to take with my art recently, this is the sign i was waiting for!

Yes, she's the celtic divinity of lakes and rivers, fire, crafts and light.
Most of my paintings are based on mythology.

the chipboard u found in the rubbish really finishes this off, or provides the perfect foundation depending on ur outlook. the textures just work together so well.

Proof that another's trash can definitely become treasure~! I love the mixed media aspect of this too! I've seen some paint and collage-type work before and a lot of times it seems to look kind of... haphazard and tacky in the end. (especially stuff with seashells!) But everything works together so well, I didn't realize at first those were real shells and stones, etc.
How long did this take, if you don't mind>?
