Description
I got a few editing ideas today and while I did first think I'd write them down, since they only amounted to like, four, I decided to instead put them on my old editing plan. Which I 'updated' by taking out the two edits I've done (Unidolized Pirate Misaki and Unidolized Valentine Kanon/Moca) and rearranging accordingly. Also I just saw I never posted the first 'plan' her so does this even make sense to you akjfsd

The new ideas I noted down where Angel Rina (with Dia serving as the Unidolized and Chika as the Idolized) and School Uniform Rina posed like Theme Park Rika. I also saw someone draw Natsuki in a dress inspired by Wedding Yohane, and after looking at the original card I was like 'oh this fits so well!' like facial expression-wise that I decided to make an edit of it.

And since there was quite a chunk of space left I... decided to put some sprites there that I downloaded some days ago as future references. The concept behind it was... well... I read a love live confession on instagram defending Honk's and/or Chika's double position of center and leader, so I thought it would be interesting to have the leader be a calm, collected and more quiet type of person than your usual Honoka or Chika. I am... not sure at what point the delinquent aspect came to it, but I took Hitomi as that person, and if I add her I need to add Chiduko too. At this point I was thinking to myself, "I am too lazy to make up five or six ocs for this. I'll just take some N girls as delinquents". Which I defined mostly as just 'girls causing trouble' because there's not really much of delinquents in Love Live. I think the delinquents bit was in part of the bad uniform design in love live. Like they all wear their uniform the same, the only difference being an occasional vest or so above it. It's really boring, and maybe part of the reason I like delinquent designs more. I actually made a rough doodle of a normal uniform on my phone, and then made variations of it for different characters (like a swimsuit or gym clothes under the blazer, a long skirt, untied necktie and blazer on shoulders, the uniform with a white coat instead of the blazer, a 'generic' delinquent uniform that's just got the blazer open and necktie undone) (and there could actually be even more variations like wearing a hoodie under the blazer or adding accessoires); I kinda sorted them already to the characters I was gonna use first, but since I changed that I need to look at it again.

The original Line-up for the group was Hitomi, Chiduko, Sayuri, Iruka, Rika and Akira (I only chose her bc she looks kinda smug), resulting in me calling them "I crash" (instead of doing school work I threw around their initials and came up with that). However, I didn't want to have four people coming from the same school, so I kicked Akira. I wanted to go for a two people per grade basis, so I needed another first-year... and while I like Yuu, both Hitomi and Rika are the same type of personality like her, so I was taking Saki... no offense to Saki, she's cute, but I felt like she didn't really fit.

Then I ditched Rika because I already had so many cool attribute girls. And while looking through who to replace her with I scrolled by Leo and realized that she might be a good fit for causing trouble (I mean... I think I remember her doing some shit but aside from getting thousands of scarves bc people assume she freezes running around in shorts in winter I can't remember anything).
And since Rika was gone I just took Yuu because I do prefer her in the end. I was thinking of giving her a club who researches speed with rejected members Fuu (she seemed a little boring, even though I like her a lot), Shun (bringing her horse to school sounded bonkers to me so I was tied on whether to go with her or Leo) and Akira (see above for reason she was originally in the group). Now I'm also thinking about adding Fumie (her otaku-ness also seemed interesting for the group, but I was already full on second years.

After I had finally figured out my group constellation I started to go into naming. The one name I had was CRUSH! for Hitomi and Chiduko (whether that's just the duo's name or a song they sing is up to debate) which is kinda based on the original group name. I actually looked up constellations for groups starring (lol pun) Yuu, so every combination with her in it (be it two or three people) got the name of a star or constellation. I probably won't use any of them though, some I may take as song names though.

For Duos I just split them off into Hitomi/Chiduko, Iruka/Leo (Iruka loves being in the water, Leo has a general affinity for nature), and Sayuri/Yuu (the spares. I was thinking about calling them Orion together but that's too obvious so they are currently listed as Bellatrix, a star of Orion that refers to a warrior or something). With trios it's harder because if I group three together, the others are just spares. The groups I've noted down are Hitomi/Sayuri/Yuu [Ophiuchus, a constellation of a 'serpent bearer'], Chiduko/Iruka/Leo [as a Bibi/Guilty Kiss type of group], Hitomi/Chiduko/Yuu [Cetus, whale, no idea why I actually chose this] and Yuu/Iruka/Leo [Volans, flying fishes, combining their stars, water and... 'wildness'(?) themes together]. You see, I was mostly just noting down Constellations. I also noted down Pleione (star of the Pleiades cluster which cycles through fading and shining bright) and Lycoris (genus of spider lilies, because red spider lillies are edgy; the named group would probably be the lily white/azalea stand-in, just a bit... off) which I'll probably turn into singles as well.

SO, since I had the extra space I put them on here too, and I figured I needed to put their name along with it. Since the original group name was formed by initials (and the CRUSH! name I was using was meant for just Hitomi and Chiduko), I wanted another initial name. But because I couldn't come up with anything and googled. The 'best' results I got were 'clAyish', 'lychNis' and 'sylPhic'. While I first thought that lychnis looking similar spelled to 'lynch', the ch being pronounced like a k made it sound like 'lick-ness' which is... awkward. I'm particularly drawn to SYLpHIC because it sounds much nicer but it's a pretty crass contrast between the name (sounding fairy-like) and the idol group (remember, they are delinquents) Also the position of the added letter is symmetrically in the middle. Honestly it just seems funny, I gotta come up with a story how they got to use that name or actually make a story for them in general you know lmao

No idea where to note it but I didn't just make sure I'd have two girls per grade, I also wanted to have each attribute evenly distributed, which meant Sayuri got changed to Pure but the rest retain theirs.

I also doodled some costume designs for them that you can find on my insta but. I don't really know when I'll actually do the first edit for them. Though the very first edits of them were supposed to be like story sprites that I wanted to make myself from scratch, but first drawing is not my forte and second I dunno what to exactly do for their default poses.
