Description
This is a ref sheet for incase I get the time to join.* However, due to time I will not be taking part. I come to DA to unwind , show my drawing's I do wile watching TV as I relax from the day.
Mainly it's due to me having no time to draw a comic, as well as that, I'm no comic artist.

She's my oldist one so she is more developed then the rest, this is really a brief summery of her lol. But I did re-do this drawing a wile ago if you feel like takeing a look [link]

She doesn't seem to be that much a Mary Sue to me. Her sword feels like a high-tech version of Elric's 'Stormbringer'...

I don't see how it would be a flaw, part of the reason why she's so strong willed is from having to deal with others narrow mindedness. As well as that, I don't see how one's sexuality matters a hell of a lot such trivial things as that to really don't matter to me, I chose my friends on who they are. And what IS a Mary Sue? I never heard that before, and Soul weapons are more like part of the user, so it's more mystic then tech.

A 'Mary Sue' is an original character without any flaws, someone who is 'too good to be true'. Another poster accused her of that, but I don't think she is one myself.

lol,I gathered you were, I google'd the hell out of Mary Sue, I found it a little uncalled for, i dislike someone talking about one of my oldist and fav. OC's like that, she has flaws, more so, someone already told me in a better way I forgot to list weakness's, I don't need any one repeating it lol.
I just don't what her to be punked out by some over the top power. The shield is there just to stop someone from writing something like, "As she walked down the street I shot her from a rooftop....she never saw it coming." I want people to THINK about how to fight her, it's not how powerful they are but how you over come it. But still it was my bad, I just forgot to write it in the artist comment box like i was planing. But it's fixed now. For the time being I'm seeing how many comments I get on her and what kind they are, then I'll deside if I'll join or not.

I don't think the guys meant it in a nasty way... He just seemed really abrupt in saying it. If he'd said 'you should give her some flaws too, just so people don't think she's perfect' then that would have been fine.
I agree, you don't want her to be vulnerable either. Or get one-shotted or something. Anyway, I think she's really nice.

lol, well the person she's based off of was pretty chesty, ah well to each their own I say. I don't think anyone called her a sex-idol furry before lol. I just got the mind set that if I'm going to draw a female, I'm going to try to make her look good lol. I just wanted to develop her a little, I was thinking of giving her a partner, another OC I want to develop but not in the red dress to satisfy the non-furry crowd

lol, to tell the truth, I'm not into them eather, at first I had her as a human, the the person I based her off wanted a catgirl. So over the years good at drawing them so I started to try new things to challenge myself with that style.

Yeah.....she's a Mary Sue.....
She needs some flaws. Like weaknesses, imperfections, fears, habits, quirks, pet peeves......these things will make her more believable and fleshed out.
Don't hate on my now, I'm speaking from experience here. It seems like she wouldn't struggle much while fighting on the island.
That makes her kinda boring.
There's nothing wrong with what I coin as 'shithotcharacters', but they don't really hold audience interest for long. I learned this when I tried to enter my character into an OCT before.
Stick a few flaws in there and she should get entered into the tournie. Good luck man.

I'll update the artist comments, I forgot is all. Mostly because there is no real trick to it, the shield shatters after a hit or two and any good strike will do it, I'm just used to people knowing this already so it didn't cross my mind at the time lol

Sabrina (and Exe) are very neat characters. You've included important information including their back story and powers. However, I feel there should also be listed any disadvantages they'd experience due to the 'Soul weapon and host' powers. (Not including the means of the contract they have). For example, perhaps Exe's transformation between weapon and shield takes time, so for a brief moment Sabrina is vulnerable to attack? It would be best if you had some weaknesses listed for your opponents, so it's easier for them to keep your OCs in character.
Aside from that, I wish you luck in Swirly and can't wait to see your audition!

it's more of a time issue, I work, have a life......sorta. I'm seeing if i can get a entry comic/story that i like done on time. As well I'm helping with my sister's wedding so that's going to eat up a few days too, so if I can't, it will be due to time

It's an OCT (original character tournament) where artists fight/draw against other artists. Depending on the theme of the OCT varies what setting and story line the entries will have. Basically there are 5 rounds in Swirly. Each round, all the artists will be paired up with another artist. Each have to draw their character fighting and winning against their opponent. They are later judged by the judges of Swirly and they decide which artist moves onto the next round.
It can be a bit confusing at first but they're a lot of fun!

Well, a lot of artists also enter with literature pieces. As long as you have a reference up so the others know what the character looks like (for example, have one of your friends draw a full body coloured picture) then of course you can participate ^^
