Here are the heirs in my AU I will mostly be explaining the relationships between the child's parents, cause why not?

Prince Rey Del Sol: After sending her sister to the moon Celestia was so sad, she had no one now. Then her mentor Starswirl found a way to enter another world. As soon as Celestia saw Sombra she fell head over hooves for him. Sombra pretty much felt the same, he was taking every chance he got to flirt with her. (Which ended with hot coffee getting spit in his face, so not a very good idea Sombra :/) In this world there was another Luna, so Celestia was so happy when she came to this world. She had her sister, and the most handsome stallion she had ever laid eyes on. Well all those visits Celestia was making were destroying the barrier between their worlds, so soon enough the world's collided, and Sombra sacrificed himself for Celestia and his kingdom. Celestia was devastated, if she had just listened to starswirl none of this would have happened, it was all her fault… When the evil Sombra (Celestia's world) got reformed they realized that the other Sombra would probably be reformed too, so they went through the mirror, the Sombras swapped places, Celestia and Sombra get married, ya know that stuff. While Luna was pregnant with Insomnius she asked her sister if her and Sombra were planning to have foals, Celestia didn't know if Sombra wanted to have foals or not, so she decided to ask him if he did or not. Sombra did, he REALLY did. They waited until Insomnius was born then Celestia got pregnant and around a year later, Rey was born.

Prince Insomnius Eclipse: Shadow and Luna were childhood friends, Shadow comforted Luna through everything, Her father's abuse, the death of her mother, being neglected by her sister and the entire kingdom. Shadow was the only thing keeping Luna from going insane, when Celestia found out about this pony from the Everfree Forest she forbid Luna to see him ever again. Luna became enraged, causing her to finally let the darkness in. Just before she was transformed into nightmare moon she cast a spell on the Everfree Forest. Every creature inside of the Everfree Forest would be frozen in time for a Millennium. When Luna came back from the moon she didn't realize that her spell worked until Shadow became the general of her Guard. She was overjoyed that he was still alive, she also noticed she felt differently about him, she had fell in love with him. She confessed to him and Shadow told her he felt the same, then they started dating, their relationship was a secret until Shadow proposed to Luna, Luna happily accepted. They got married (which Celestia was not a bit happy about) and Luna found out she was pregnant. (Later in their marriage) Luna was very hesitant to tell Shadow, and was very afraid he would find out because of her hyperemesis gravidarum. She thought he would leave her, when she did tell Shadow it was the exact opposite, he was so happy he started to cry happy tears right there as he hugged Luna saying "I'm gonna be a dad!"

Flurry heart: Shining armor had a huge crush on Cadence from the moment he first saw her, you know the rest, they date, their wedding was a disaster, then flurry came along. Flurry has VERY powerful magic so Cadence and Shining have to deal with that, which causes a few bumps in their relationship, Cadence being the princess of love and a licensed marriage counselor (yes, she is also a marriage counselor in my AU this is probably not important but it may be sooner or later you never know) she usually fixes their relationship problems pretty fast so they have never been the littlest bit close to splitting up.

Penumbra: Penumbra is the son of Twilight and evil Sombra. After Sombra got reformed he spent a year in Equestria before swapping places with the mirror Sombra. During this time the mane six were helping him be a good pony, and Sombra soon fell for the nerdy, bookworm, princess Twilight Sparkle. Twilight was starting to fall for him too, one night a few too many drinks were drank and the next morning there was a huge fight between the two. Twilight claimed he took advantage of her and stole her innocence. Sombra defended himself with the fact that he too was drunk and didn't know what he was doing. Twilight told him he hadn't changed a bit from the evil, manipulative, tyrant he was before, which enraged Sombra so he left and Twilight told him to never come back or else her guards would be called. Sombra deeply regretted that night, he really did love her, but It was now clear she didn't love him back. When Luna asked him if he was willing to swap places with his good counterpart, he accepted because he had no reason to be in this world anyways. After the Sombras swapped places Twilight realized she was pregnant, her friends were very supportive and after Penumbra was born they took care of him more than Twilight did. Twilight wanted to love her son but she just didn't and she couldn't fake it.

So yeah these are my Heirs, I didn't mean to have three stallions it just happened (Rey originally had a older sister but I scrapped her) I have noticed how most royal next gen have all female heirs so I decided I wanted to be original and make it mostly stallions to give the stallions a chance to shine.
