For quite a while now I've been meaning to redesign Nicki with these kinds of colors, but they were too close to Macabre's bloodmage design. Now that Macabre is represented by green I felt that I could finally redesign her.
It also felt weird that someone who knew Macabre the longest was being regulated as an associate of hers behind newer friends like Faith, Sly, Stacy, Arthur, and even Inspector Warrens. Well, now due to the many changes I'm inflicting on Crimpleskins, Nicki is now Macabre's only close friend and the others no longer exist as part of Crimpleskins. Nicki is now the owner of the curio bookstore that was once run by Faith, and instead of being a professor, she is just a straight-up historian of all things strange.
