I'm doing a little art challenge for myself (further explanation in this journal here ) and this is the Kanto starter trio.The song I used for inspiration is Candy Store (warning for swearing) from Heathers: The Musical- one of the many musicals that I listen to the soundtrack of, yet have never seen, nor do I really want to see it(I mean I read the plot on Wikipedia, but that was only because I was trying to figure out what kind of musical had a song like 'Meant to be Yours'. Do not let the name fool you.).
I... don't really have much to say that the title and song couldn't, except that yes, I did get a little lazy with Bulbasaur there. I have nothing to say about that, except that she was the last one I drew, plus it's kinda difficult for me to imagine bulbasaur as a bitchy popular girl like the Heathers are... that, and I couldn't resist drawing that expression on her face when I realized the terrible positioning of the charmander's tail.
