I can't remember whether I uploaded photos of this or not, so just in case I'm posting these.
At the end of last year for one of my art assessments I decided to tackle the task of reconstruction two snakes for my unit of 'Spiritual Journey'. Snakes are a big symbol of transformation in many societies/cultures, and I chose a subcategory of transformation, so this was the perfect excuse to reconstruct the bones I'd found in my garden a year prior. Many hours of work and hundreds of bones later, and I'm very happy with how they turned out!
