Evidently, it seems that seeing Evil Pinocchio would scare the living hell out of Mickey (but hey, who wouldn't?). This meme originated from an early 90's live-action/animated short called Best of Disney: 50 Years of Magic (as seen here: youtu.be/xWS1G0sd1eM ).
Addendum: I can imagine Disney could (and SHOULD) do something similar to this for their 100th anniversary (sans Evil Pinocchio. lol!)
