I feel like I haven't been putting a lot of fan art up of late. This picture feels like a nice change.Recently my brother and I finished "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" that game is rad. Plus it houses my favourite Link. Because Ocarina-Link is awesome! (The others are too or course. ;3
Opted for his newer look opposed to his older one. I still find original Young Link cuter, however. Something about new Young Link's face makes me want him to grow up faster. His face almost looks too mature. He ended up looking impish when I drew him. Had fun with this painting, but I really wanna do some other projects now. My brother also drew a picture of Link and his Ocarina--->Link Plays the Ocarina Check it out, 'cuz it's awesome!

Link looks so cute Danni!!!!! The colors as always look amazing!!!! I've always wondered what type of paper do you use??? But honestly that background looks just fantastic the colors and the details just make it look so good!!!!!!

Thank you, Melate-Chan! The paper I used for this painting was " Strathmore 300 Series Tapebound Watercolor Pad" Good watercolor paper for less than five bucks! It soaks up a nice amount of water and stays wet long enough for good effects. Takes layers well too. All my other watercolor works have been on Canson XL watercolor paper pad. I wouldn't suggest it though. Handles Copic well and a few thin washes. However if you want to truly layer it's hard because the paint keeps lifting up and you get a rough look. ;A; I'm only using it for pencil and ink now.
