The thunderbird is a legendary creature that has been spoken about in legends by natives who live in North America and some of even claimed to have seen the thunderbird in the modern day so it has been labeled a Cryptid similar to the loch ness monster.
it's an absolutely huge bird with huge wings and when it swooped low to the ground the air rushing off the bottom of its wings would hit the ground with such force that it sounded like thunder.
The thunderbird was a predator known for catching things like deer human children and other small or medium size animals however no physical evidence has been found to prove their existence, a lot like them loch ness monster in fact the thunderbird is what inspired Zapdos from the pokemon series.
