Companion Piece to:Part 2 of 3 of my "thank you" arts to you all for making Calamity Clarisse voted most humorous on the Verita Awards and also for reading, reviewing and all that.
Chris, obviously, is asleep on his own name because well - what else does the boy do, right?
If you were here on time you got to vote on the poll "which color should be his underwear?", if you weren't then poor you, cause the options were like super cool, lol.
Anyway, there was a tie between "yellow -like the cheddar in a nacho" and "light yellow - like the sunshine, since Clarisse hates Apollo Cabin.";
I was personally sad "orange because we all know he stole it from CHB's official store" didn't win; but that doesn't change the fact that he DOES steal his underwear from there anyway xD!
Next on the line, Little Miss Calamity herself.

Yeah, I know, but if I started talking about that, it would start a whole new ramble, and I usually just end up walking away in a huff, mumbling, lmao. Are you ready for a long and complicated explanation? Ok, then - HERE I GO, lol.
On the first time he appears Chris is said to be undetermined, right? So then when he shows up again he's only referred to "one of the Hermes' kid" which could mean both that he is a) a son of hermes or b) just from hermes cabin - then, the ultimate guide said he was a son of Hermes though we can never *really* trust the ultimate guide. However, since is the only partially reliable source we get, we go by what it says.
Another possible clue is Chris' name. Sometimes, Rick gives characters names that have something to do with their parents and/or personality, for instance everyone at Apollo Cabin has a name that has something to do with the sun, the future or archery (Will Solace, Lee Fletcher, Michael Yew) and I'm sure some of them has a name like Melody or anything that reminds people of music too. Same thing happens to Silena Beauregard whose name literally means "A moon that's beautiful to look at" and even Clarisse's name means something Clarisse means "bright" and "Rue" means regret which is possibly a foreshadowing of her actions on the final book with Silena's death and the whole blessing of ares thing. NOW, Chris' name is short for Christopher the christian saint of travellers while Rodriguez means "heir of the royalty" something like soo two and two together; you get Hermes again.
