The theatre group ran by some of my friends has put together a semi-professional indie version of Wicked, we premiere tomorrow and, for good lucky (in this case broken legs), I did this little art based on our wardrobe instead of the usual broadway clothes and hair.I'll be backstage taking care of makeup (cue me looking kinda green for the next week) and other stuff so yeah, excited.

Break a leg! Wicked's a great show. One of my favourite new-age Broadway musicals. I'm still a sucker for some of the older classics, though, like West Side Story, A Chorus Line, Gypsy, and The Sound of Music.

The main reason we are producing Wicked is because theatre in Brazil isn't usually musical-based especially in our town and a way to attract more people is probably going for modern shows, I assume. The classics are great and I'm pretty sure they'll get more they deserve once the les mis movie is out.
