"Weeks of study... WASTED..."

Well, this took quite a bit of effort to make.
As I mentioned in the preview, this is my first time actually drawing a "real" background from the show, so I had to constantly look at pictures of the cafe in both its main appearances (season 1 and 3, as far as I know) and mimic it as closely as possible. Aside from taking much longer to draw, it made consistency between panels even harder to maintain than usual since there were a whole bunch of extra details to worry about.

I also had a fair bit of trouble making the waiter pour the flipping coffee. He has no hands and no magic, and I imagined that any attempts at holding the coffee pot with his mouth would have ended in tragedy, so I had to fiddle around with different poses until I found one that worked. And after all that, it was still unclear what he was doing in the fifth panel, so I had to draw the fourth to clarify.

All in all, I learned a bit about backgrounds and pastel pony anatomy, and I did the thing and made the comic and it's only a mere five days late; the lateness can mostly be attributed to friends, family, and the fact that I start college in the next two weeks.
