Someone's tracking that one. Wonder who? Could be a state wildlife agency, the US F&W, or a private wildlife group.

any knowledge of finding out who is tracking them? I've seen a couple also and it could be cool to 'report' them! In California the Monarch butterflies are aften tagged with a 'send sighting details' message tag - but you usually only see them dead...

If you can get close enough to read the full tag, it's usually enough information to do a search on the internet and find out.

There were 3 of them and they all had tags.
