Description
Kung Fu Panda was a really awesome movie, but the only character which I really liked was master crane so I simply did a kinda detailed fanart of him but in my style of course.
I invested lots of time into the wings and I didnt really want to make them anatomycal correct...
Just cartoony in a way...
Most parts of it are done with the pen tool. (photoshop vector tool)

I swear this movie seriously reminded me of tai fu which included all of these animals: a tiger, a panda, a cheeta, a leopard, a mantis, a monkey and a dragon, except the tiger was the main character and the panda was just his friend. Before I trail off anymore I would like to say that its an incredible picture.

yeah at the end i noticed the credits said jackie chan as monkey one of the characters that had almost no lines! why have jackie chan in a movie if he only says 3 sentances

he does seem to speak english fluently after all he made multiple movies in english but he does not pronounce some words right alot of asian people pronounce english words wrong

Master Crane was one of my favourite too. I love his style of fighting, really majestic. But the thing that really made me like him was his hat

Wow, this piece demanded me to go to see this film, but too late to see this now at theatre near me! Well, I'll save watching this until I get DVD!
Anyway, you sure have great techniques to draw this character almost exactly the same from 3D one! It's pretty amazing how you managed to used many different colors and perhaps layers to make great shadings! In addition, I really love the "simplicity" on the background image; it seems very simple, but it should have been quite complicated, right? But, the background really sets great atmosphere, and overall, outstanding!
