~~~~ TUTORIAL AVAILABLE >HERE< ~~~~These two are the rats of my friend Diane, that I recreated with seed beads.
Parzifal the Amber is the excited one, and Myrddrinn the Amercian Blue is the huggy one

I saw your pattern for these awesome little beaded ratties, and I have to say I love your little Myrddrinn! I had three American Blue boys, and they were the most affectionate rats I've owned, granted they were also the first males I had, and I know males are more affectionate, but I'm so excited to bead a little Blue rattie! I picked a more natural looking blue colored bead though. I think I may mod the front feet to have three beads instead of just one, since one kinda looks like stumps to me, and I think I might try to use 3 beads for the tail formed into a triangle to round it out since the body is so nicely sculpted I think the tail should be as well.

I would love to try to make one...this is the best beaded rat I've ever seen. But the tutorial is not working for me. Is there another way I can see it?

Aw, that's okay, I understand. I'm a completely noob, though - how hard is it to make, realistically? Is this something a beginner could do, or would it take an intermediate beader? I was looking at some of your other stuff and it's really amazing - you're talented on so many levels, it's ridiculous.

Oh rats sound very different from hamsters. 
I'm extremely excited to try this out. I only made butterflies and dragonflies with small beads and they were flat, so making a 3d rat for the first time is probably going to be frustrating but

I am hoping to find another blue rat sometime... I had a baby girl named Miso, but I lost her in a house fire back in August.

Awww cuteness ^^ I think they'd be better with slightly more exaggerated ears, as otherwise they get lost a bit amongst all the other beads, but that could just be the photograph (beads never seem to photograph very well!).
