I sat down and modeled it after doodling some guns on a post-it paper thingy.

wow, highpoly guns - kill computers! >.< the only problem would be running out of bullets every 3 shots if u got a 6-shot cylinder.

Unwraping a low poly model for texturing is no problem, but unwraping 40.000 polys o.O
My only hope would be somethign like reversed baking. Baking lowpoly textures on highpoly model.
Wonder if that is possible, and if, would it give a decent result?
Elseway I had to create the texture for the highpoly UV layout all over aggain :/
I thought abbout the beauty of I highpoly textured version too, but you see what my problem is :S
