90 Drawings in 90 Days.
DAY 23 - "Bed Bread"
Time Taken ~90 minutes

Do you ever just grab a single piece of plain white bread and eat it on your bed? Well, do you?! HUHHH!?!

Now I'm getting more complex! Behold all the folds of cloth I have attempted! Today I wanted to try something unconventional. Requirements included:
-an angled face and body(ie. Nothing front facing)
-Interaction with an object
-NO FITTED CLOTHING

In retrospect, I should have drawn in landscape rather than portrait so I could get more of the body in, but I think I still manage to capture the idea. I googled just random images of people and came across a random girl sitting with a piece of bread hanging out of her mouth. Reminded me of like a cartoon/anime or something, but made no sense for a flesh and blood person to be taking an earnest photo of.....

Anyway, I'm happy with the result. One thing I'm noticing about myself, is that if I stop trying to be such a perfectionist about everything, my illustrations end up looking way better, and taking much quicker too! I don't think I've felt as good about my art as I have in the last few days. Of course, it's not perfect, but I am actually seeing tangible improvement, and I am keen to see how far I will go. Lol I feel like I said this exact same thing multiple times now...so I'll shut up.
