Description
March 1940: SP&S #700 is running a slow freight though the Piney woods of Oregon. Other higher priority trains are bound to come through, so the 700 is often traveling at slow speeds and deletaged to the side-track. Although only 2 years old, #700 starts to show the signs of good service by exhibiting coal dust, some rust and the general buildup of dirt and grime.
